Jump Start! Financial Smarts for Students. Teachers may want to stop in here. The Jump Start Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy was established in 1995. They discovered that the average student who graduates high school lacks basic skills in the management of financial affairs. This site provides support for the enrichment of studies in this area. http://www.jumpstartcoalition.org/ Consumer Jungle. All explorers welcome! You never know who could be trying to monkey around with your money. This site promotes consumer literacy for young adults. Free and low-cost publications are available that can help you save money, eat right, stay healthy, take care of your kids, travel safely and much more. The Wisconsin site provides information about laws, rules, licensed insurers and current issues that affect the consumer.
