Grant awarded to Case High School economics
teacher Racine, Wis., May,
2007. CBR Foundation for Financial Education awarded a grant
of $525 to Steve Jancik, teacher of economics at Case High School.
He will attend a conference at the Wisconsin Institute for Financial
and Economic Education in Madison on July 9-13. He will participate
in the institute's course, “Investor Education, Economics, and
Insurance.” Topics will include savings, investments, budgeting,
and insurance, which are subjects included in the curriculum of courses
he teaches at Case High School. # # # CBR Foundation for Financial Education is located in Racine, Wisconsin. A non-profit organization, its mission is to provide financial education to the community. CBR offers services to area residents by way of publications, distribution of educational materials and grants to support educational initiatives in the field of personal finance. It also serves as a clearinghouse for government publications, Internet sites and commercial publications that pertain to financial education for all age groups. [back to Press Releases]
